The Ozark Mountain Amateur Radio Club (OMARC) serves northern Arkansas with extensive VHF/UHF repeater coverage and active emergency communications teams.
Operating from elevated mountain sites across the Ozarks, OMARC repeaters provide reliable radio communication across mountainous terrain where cellular coverage can be sparse.
Club members host annual ARRL Field Day operations and seasonal antenna testing sessions, promoting amateur radio across Baxter and Marion counties.
